Any cheap RJ body kits out there?
Hey some of you may remember me from a little while ago. I was looking at the RJ body kits and love them alot more than just the lips. But its 2350 for it to be pre painted the color i want (CBP). Is there any way i can get it cheaper pre painted? Or should i just buy it without paint and get it painted at a shop. Thanks

I think you should post up when ur ready to purchase.. and I dont mean this like an ass.. I'm just saying good deals usually come fast and go fast.. they never can be planned like you're trying to. You gotta be ready to seize the moment when it happens.

SOUNDOFF, you've probably already did the trade with the guy for the RJ kit. I want to throw my name into the mix if he backs out or flakes. I have an '05 SSM and I would have my whole kit repainted at a shop of your choosing to make that trade happen. It's probably too late, but if ur current deal goes south, hit me up!

RJ and cheap is an oxymoron. You can't substitute quality and class so I would just save up and buy the one you want and get it painted. That or you can get the aspec kit too as well comes painted and still looks really nice.

Heh very true. is it worth shippin out the extra 400 for the prepped and primered or should i just have the shop deal with that

I would let the shop do it all. And go to a GOOD shop that does alot of high end custom work. The RJ bodykit does not fit exact and needs to be made to fit so do not buy the prepped and primered version. TRUST ME.. certain pieces need to be sanded and shaved.

Aside from sanding and fitting, the kit will have millions of tiny holes in it - caused by air bubbles from the molding process. Have your body shop do all the work to ensure everything comes out perfect. The RJ kit adds a tremendous amount of elegance to our TL. If you choose to go with RJ, don't cut corners. You'd be wasting your money.
