Another vibrating noise...
I'm wondering if anyone of you have the same vibrating issue. When I start to move my car in a very slow speed (less than 5 miles per hour.. very slow), I hear a rattling noise in my front console. It's more of a plastic/metal faint vibrating sound. It looks like it's coming from the top console cover. It seems to go away when i leave the console cover open. I get the sound when my RPM is below 1000 or whenever there is a vibration in the car. Do you have any idea what could be causing this? I want to bring it to Acura but I'm afraid that they will do me more harm than good.
Anybody who have experienced this, please let me know how you had it fixed. It's driving me nuts. The sound is very faint but you can hear it if the radio is not on. Now, I can even hear it even if I'm not in my car. It's insane.
THANKS!
ps. I did search the forum but did not find anything identical to this.

Yes, I had the same experience and I also think it is coming from the top console cover. If I open it the noise goes away. I think I will live with it because I also think it is the top console cover and the dealer will do more harm than good. Or at least I will wait until I need routine service to have the dealerlook at it.

Acura says its from the Sun Visor hitting the light, I took a coupe of pieces of mail and put it between the light and visor. (Who ever designed this lighting system must have been drinking). My rep told me there was nothing they could do as its a design defect. I said I did not know Acura was in the business of making cars that make irratating noises. And I want to speak to my Acura Service Rep.
I was actually amazed at first with his indifference, but later on a follow up discussion when I picked up the car, he seemed more understanding. Regardless I did not pay 30K plus for a car to annoy me. Did any of you? Acura should find a fix lets hope they are as responsive as they advertise.

I put the clear cabinet bumpers on my light above the visor and the visor itself and it made the problem worse. I believe the noise is not from the sticky sounds when you push up on your light, but from the interior of the visor. I put adhesive felt all over the visor and around the edges of the wirror flap and nothing......
