So on rt 44 which is a 2 lane long assssss street and i'm just sittin at the light coming from hollywood video not tryin to start nothing juss going home and this kid in a tc him n his boy pulls up next to me and starts to grill the shit out of my car and they laughd a little bit so i launch like a bat outta hell leaving him in the dust and i notice he's struggling to catch up so i slow down he passes me and i pop it into S and im off!!! pass him about 100 or so and he cant catch up!

now i have a friend in a TC and he beats me every single time Sport shift or not...he also has a couple TRD additives

rear sway bar and a exhaust

so my question is should i be smoking TC's orr getting smoked

You should be destroying TCs, those things are slow as hell. Unless he had a TRD supercharger.... even then it barely adds up to any notable gains, and he would be barely beating you.

 

If you're losing to tC's you fail at driving. Bolted up or not....theyre slow.

I thought tC's had 5-speeds? I honest don't know...too lazy to look it up. Regardless of transmission, its still a scion tC...even if you give him a 5 second headstart you would eventually pull. I raced one in my brothers 350Z 6MT At that point, you start counting by bus lengths...
