Another successful 6mt fluid change to GM synchromesh.

Changed out the fluid in my 08 TL-S 6mt to the GM synchromesh fluid. I told some guys I would do a before and after analysis and even though I only put about 5 miles on it to get the new fluid warmed up and tested. The results were immediate!! Every gear now just feels perfect in everyway. Prior to the fluid change there was sometimes a slight notchiness feel mainly in 3rd gear. In my short test drive it went into 3rd perfectly everytime. Overall the fluid change was simple the only thing that was a pain for me was getting the rear jacked up correctly and ensuring the transmission was 100% level. Where the heck is the correct rear jacking point???

Anyway, GM synchromesh is great stuff!

Awesome, I feel my S's 3rd gear is not smooth at all and requires more effort to go in then the other gears.

Will have to do this ASAP.

You are right though I should have posted it in a different thread. Mods please delete this thread!
