Thumbs up Another "should I do it?" thread

2007 Type-S 6mt with 49k miles, carbon bronze
3rd gear TSB has been done by Acura stealership under warranty already.
Front pads/rotors recently replaced.
includes a set of snow tires mounted on spare rims w/TPMS

$21,500 - I'm like 97% to the point of pull the trigger considering the snow tires/wheels being included. This seems like a stellar deal. The car is quite clean.

Green light from the community? I'm pretty confident but I've always ensured any time I do anything with my 2005 TL in the past I've always consulted Azine first

I've got 51k on my '07 MT Type S. Did front pads already no rotors though. I would say go for it! Great car, change the tranny fluid to the GM friction modified for more piece of mind.

Looks good, go for it. Is this from a Acura dealership (CPO?)?

Reason I ask if its located at a smaller dealership/non-Acura dealership, I'd recommend you bring it to a trusted independent shop and do a Pre-Owned Inspection. $75-125 wasted, but for the peace of mind, priceless.

Do you know where I can find the GM Synchromesh Friction Modified fluid? I'm having trouble tracking that down.

Also, were your rotors worn and needed to be replaced by then, or did you just replace them to be safe/eliminate brake dust.

GM synchromesh FM should be available at any Chevy, Buick, gmc dealership...usually $12 a bottle...

deal is being completed this morning.

I took everyone's advice because I've been trying to pick up a 6mt for a while now (love my 5AT but just not the same as stick) and every time I see one that's a good deal it's gone within days. Just close my eyes and pull the trigger is what I needed to do.

There were already 3 other people talking to this guy from out of state so I pretty much walked up with loan approval in-hand and 1000 bucks and said hi you can have your money tomorrow. Sell me the car.

I appreciate the affirmation of my fellow enthusiasts.

supposed to be nice weather tomorrow, I may have to take pics and make a stop in the UA7 thread
