Hey guys, I am a current Nissan Maxima owner and a member of maxima.org.
Must give you props for having a pretty neat forum here.

I am looking into getting a replacement for my 2000 Maxima 5spd, and really dig the design of 4th gen TL. Would like to research this car a bit more before making the decision though, and hope to get some help from you folks.

- what are the 0-60 and 1/4 times for stock 2004 and 2006 TL, in auto, and manual? You guys are the best to ask this, because dont trust the magazines. Is 2004 faster or slower compared to 2005 and 2006: when the HP ratings changed, it could be due to new restrictive exhaust etc.

- gas mileage and grade. Is anyone using regular gas in their TL, and is 30 mpg realistic on hwy?

- reliability, and things to look out for when purchasing a used TL?

- maintenance costs: what do you guys pay for an oil change @ dealership, set of OEM brake pads, etc?
