Hello all,

This is my 1st message here. I hope I am doing it right?

My wife and I pick up our new 2007 Acura TL tonight.

It's Moroccan red pearl with the parchment interior. We got it without navigation 'cause we just don't need it. I'll take some pictures tonight and then try to figure out how to get them posted here.

Welcome! Congratulations on the new ride. I know you will enjoy the car. My first TL was an '06 without Navi...a week later I REGRETED it. 6 months later I bought an '07 with Navi. Believe me, the Navi comes with alot more than the actual navigation system. Anyway, welcome here.

Welcome.
Yes, you probably posted somewhere much more general and were moved to this forum since you got a 3rd generation ('04-current) TL.

Thanks for the replys.

Since this car is mainly for my wife, our salesman suggested that I don't do any modifications to it, and the fact that any engine or exhaust modifications will void the warranty.

I am very pleased with the stock rims. But over time I may get board with them and will want to get something different. Besides, I'm 57 years old , and my wife is 60, so it's time that I start acting my age NOT.

We traded in our 1998 VW Passat with almost 126,000 miles on the od. The only problem we had with it was the turbocharger. That had to be replaced at around 95,000.

It was a great feeling driving our new TL back home last night after we took delivery

This weekend I'll have to go through the owner's manual and the "fast start" book. There are a lot of things I need to find out how it works.

I was told by some friends that we made a great choice choosing the Acura.
My wife and I had been trying to decide what we would get for her since last July.
Our 1st pick was the TL, and then after changing our minds a least 2 dozen times, we came back to the TL.

THis is getting long and boring so I better close for now.

Thanks again so much for the welcome. I can see me visiting this site everyday for a long, long time
