Well this is probably not news to Aziners but it's always good that stories like this reaffirms what we know. It's good for the ego

sweet deal..

Topping our list of the Best CPO vehicles are the Honda Accord, Toyota 4Runner, Acura TL, Subaru Impreza and Lexus GS.
Accord beat out the TL..15 to 14, but its good to know its all in the family

That's what I bought. The car was 14 months old with 19K miles but I got a year and 12K miles added back to the warrantee. It was also a good deal according to the research I did on Edmunds, etc. It seems like a brand new car to me.

IMO the cpo certification is BS they can buy any car at auction and slap the cpo cert on it. before I bought my 06 I nearly bought an 05 cpo.....but then upon taking a close look at it the car was a disaster. 3 bad tires, one of which had a bubble in the sidewall. Some small dents and scratches which required bodywork which I believe disqualifys a car as a cpo? various interior pieces that were melted or damaged. The car was a mess yet they were trying to sell it as a cpo. Im sure I missed more things. I think I counted nearly 15 things wrong with this car.

seems like you're not doing much more than buying an extended warranty when you buy CPO

yeah the CPO is bullshit my thoughts are that if youre going to sell something as a CPO it should be a car that you have documented history on, not something that you bought from out of state at an auction and needs an assload of work to make it right. But I guess if they can sell to the masses then so be it.
