Ultimate Pedals installation question
[QUOTE=ward148]Pics of ultimatepedals
Ward148,
Thanks for the suggestion and great pics. I just ordered a set of from Ultimate Pedals. How did you install the footrest? They suggest that most people just mount it right on top of the exsiting plastic box. It's hard to tell from your pictures if that's what you did.
This will be the first of many mods for me.
Thanks,

I installed the footrest buy removing the factory one. Theirs 2 plastic clips, one toward the top and other at the bottom. (Both are a pain to remove, broke one of the plastic clips) The directions tell you to put 2 screws in each pedal, but on the footrest I only did one. (Dead center) The pics were taking before i permanently mounted the footrest.
As for the type i have, Satin anitslip........
I tried and it looked retarded! Don’t try generic ones because they don’t even come close. Just save your time and aggravation

I just installed a set of ultimate pedals in my 04 Tl. The brake pedal has the acura logo engraved on it. I'll try and post some pics over the weekend.

Silly question...
More than likely, I'm in on the buy... But two quick questions:
After looking at my TL briefly, it is clear than installtion on the brake pedal is easy. Rubber off, drill, new pedal on. However, how does one:
1. Attach to the gas pedal? Does the whole pedal come off? Not right over top, right??? Etc...
2. Attach to the dead pedal (foot rest)? Right over top??? I didn't notice any hardware in those pics...
Sorry if these are silly questions...

My guess would be the same way i installed my pedals... Self tappping screws for the gas/air pedal.
I see you are from Pittsburgh, hope to see you at the car cruises next year.

Does anybody know if I've to order 2 qtys for brake clutch or it's a set. In picture they show 2 together.
Note: Before anybody replies with smarta$$ answer "Why do not call them", It's late night there and will call them in the morning if I do not get any answers from the 6MT owners who ordered it already.
