For all of you with resonator delete

OK, so I know this has been discussed numerous times and many many threads but I can't find the answer I'm looking for. For a 08 type S

So I'm going to remove the stock resonator and replace it with the magnaflow resonator as described in the other threads.

1. Is it really worth it?

2. Does it really make a difference in sound but still sound good? (looking at the youtube clips, you can't really tell as the sound is always distorted)

3. Will it effect emissions? ( I don't think it will since it is just for sound but just making sure)

4. This will only void my warranty on exhaust I assume right?

Thanks,

I did this mod on my 07 TL-S - it wasn't much money, and I can tell a little difference in the exhaust tone. Nothing major, but subtle. I don't think it effects emissions, but I'm no expert. It will only void the warranty if Acura can trace the problem caused, back to the absence of the OEM resonator, and/or prove that a problem is caused by the presence of the magnaflow resonator.

Get the Dynomax resonator instead. It sounds better and is cheaper.

Agree.

1. Sure. It's a cheap farily harmless mod.

2. Yes, but not a huge difference. Add the J-Pipe when you can.

3. No. Zero effect.

4. Worst case? Possibly void the exhaust warranty.

Id say its worth it. I deleted teh resonator and mid muffler.

Had all custom piping done to a magnaflow Y pipe and two magnaflow mufflers.

I still today get in it and love hearing start up.
