All Wet

I know it was bound to happen sooner or later. After 500 miles, 4 washes, 1 claying, 2 polishing my babe got caught in the rain today. Oh that hurts badly after spending a weekend making her look soooo good. Sorry, I just needed to vent to ppl that care. God I love my lil T&L

I hear ya. I took off a day of work recently because of the effort I spent the weekend before.

Did you just clay the car because you wanted to or was the paint in need of it?

i usually clay before i wax. there is always a little residue that the washing didn't get out. don't want that trapped between the clear coat and wax.

did the same thing yesterday washed, shammy'ed ,clayed, then waxed, tried something new on rims called simonize wheel cleaner, it worked well, there tire stuff did not though it was a spray and i should have known better right then...so i sprayed on sponge and wiped on...then took to bodyshop to get dent out of rear cornerpanal $400.00 its right in the crease...so now my very clean tl sits in a bodyshop till friday... the shop subcontracts someone to pull small dents, becouse of location he could not...i did take before pix and will take after when done i hope they do a good job...one thing for sure my silver tl in a bodyshop parking lot will stay cleaner then your garage parked nbP.........hah hah.....
