I have that camel / peanut butter color interior... Do you guys think black all weather mats would look weird or odd or should I just get the same color as my interior?

 

I have an 04 TL with a camel interior and I had this same question when I first got it.

Go with black. Tan looks way too bland, enough of the interior is already this color. With the black, it fits with your dash/console, and makes the car look a lot sharper.

I used to have a picture (I posted it on the forum somewhere), but here's one that illustrates the same point. Camel interior, black mats. These are the official TL ones, but I have WeatherTech mats so it covers almost all of the carpet.

Sorry, I didn't make it super clear in the post where I first posted the picture.

This is from another user here on the forums. My car is the same interior color (camel), and my mats are also jet black, just like in the picture. But I have the WeatherTech mats on my car, so they are NOT these that you see in the picture. I will take a picture of mine when I get home from work this afternoon so you can see what my WeatherTechs look like.

These are the Acura TL official black rubber mats (all-season). Mine do not have the TL written on them, but I removed the WeatherTech badge off of mine.

 

I like the black mats in the camel interior. I also like the painted TL on the OEM mat. I may do this myself.

 

I miss when my seats used to look that new
