Hi, I am trying to install a alarm and still use the factory key fob. Where can I get a alarm installed so I can still use my key fob? Does anyone know somewhere in Orange county area? How much is it? Let me know. thanks.

I am lookin to buy a new TL within the next week or 2. I was wondering if I should get an alarm installed.

I have been told that the TL has a stock alarm, how good is it really?

If I were to get an alarm installed through my dealer, which brands do they use and should I request one specifically? How much should it cost?

I mainly wanted to get an auto-start installed, and wanted to go through the dealer so it is all covered under the Acura warranty. I quickly asked a dealer about autostart and he said it would be around $600 for the autostart alone, no other alarm add on or anything. I know this is an insane price....so I wanted to get some info from you all before I make up my mind.....

 

Don't know what kind or how much is the alarm from dealer but TL comes with POS alarm. You should just think of it as keyless entry alarm. It doesn't have shock sensor so unless they break the window and unlock, it won't go off. Good luck and hope you enjoy your TL~!
