Alabaster Silver Touch Up
Anyone have Alabaster Silver and need a little touch up paint?
I had a sloppy parking job on the first week and have a tiny bumper scratch -- all I can find is touch up for Satin Silver, which it seems is no longer offered on the TL.
I bought it anyway, cause from what I can tell, Albaster Silver isn't really available -- anyone have experience to the contrary?
How different are these colors (Satin vs. Alabaster)?

I haven't tried to buy Alabaster Silver, however, it should be available at your local dealer. The 2 silvers are actually different. I didn't think so until I parked mine (ASM), next to a Satin Silver.
If your Acura dealer doesn't have it try a Honda dealer. Acura used it on the TL this year ,but I believe Honda was already using it; which is probably why they swithed over. Why have two different silvers?

Hit your dealer and they will be able to hook you up with the ASM touchup paint no problem. The ASM and SSM touchups are DEFINATELY different colours as I bought both [used the SSM to touch up curb rash on a rim]. In my area, cost of touchup paint from the dealer isn't that different than the cost from an automotive supply store and you're guaranteed a 100% match. Best of luck gettin the scratch fixed up .

My dealer in California has five of the ASM touch up paint in stock. I called and checked this past week. Price was around $11. I have a new 06 TL ASM. There are a lot of ASM in my area. I didn't realize it until I bought it. They all look great.

I picked up a touchup pen on ebay. Matches perfect. Think it was around $10-12. it has silver on one end and clear on the other. There's also a site called http://www.paintscratch.com/ , they have bottles, spray and pens. Dealt with them with my last car, nice product. They even include some light compound.
