AH! Anyone have this problem?

My windows will not roll up or down by using the key in the drivers door lock. They will roll down when I hold down unlock with the key fob...but no luck with key.

Any thoughts. I asked the kid at my dealership and I got the...."uh...I'm not sure...didn't know the windows did that". Unbelievable.

Is there a setting that I am unaware of? Or a fuse? Please tell me the owner's manual is not lying to me and this function is real!

Thanks for your help!

They will not roll up, but you can roll them down by unlocking the door, then unlocking again and holding the key until they roll down.

Are you telling me that they do not roll up by using the key? My owner's manual states that they roll up or down with the key, but only down with the key fob.

Interesting.

If you turn the key in the door lock the windows should go up, i think its the lock position but not too sure. I think they only go up with the drivers door lock not down. Im not really too sure because i never really use this function.

Cause the drivers door is the only one with a keyhole.

You are all correct and I stand corrected. You can put them up and also down with the key. I was thinking of putting them up with the key fob, which you can't do because it's a safety issue.

Sorry for the misinformation.

Rolling up or down via the key in the driver door requires TWO TURNS

Rolling up:
Turn key to the left to lock the doors
Turn key to the left again to roll windows up / close sunroof

Opposite for rolling down..

Thanks for all of the replies. It sounds like I have a problem with my windows (as I originally thought). I have done what has been posted numerous times but with no luck.

BACK to the dealer!

I thought that you couldn't roll them up because of safety reasons... hmm.. I didn't even know it could do that!
