Aftermarket rug or TL cargo tray?
Any opinions? They both look to be in the ballpark of $90.

The Acura tray is nice. It's molded to the shape of the trunk, embossed with the TL logo, contains spills, and can be removed and hosed out.
I bought my tray and the all-season interior mats online at XXXXXXXXX. The mats were roughly $100 and the tray was roughly $76.

I got the trunk tray but returned it for a refund (and got the refund).
I don't have the navigation package and the trunk tray has a gaping void that would normally be filled by the navigation computer.
I have an old blanket in there now.

Get the TL tray. It fits perfectly, contains spills including melting snow. Be sure to cut slits in the 4 holes and slide them over the 4 "pegs" in the trunk and "hook it" like fastening a button through a button hole.
Regarding JohnDoe2's comment about the "gap" in the trunk after installing the tray. That's the perfect spot for the small cargo net.
There are pics in another thread on how it looks and how to hook everything up. Maybe "Neuronbob" can place the link here.

I picked up the tray this weekend. It looks great and will protect the carpets from all kinds of mishaps. I did not cut the slits for the cargo nets. The reason is if there is a liquid spill it will go right through, defeating the purpose of the tray. I never use the nets anyway. This is the main reason I got the tray. My wife had a bottle of liquid soap break and leak out. This would have been bad enough but the liquid ate through a bag of cat litter, which then spilled out all over the trunk. what a mess. The worst part of all was that none of th stuff was ours, She had taken someone else shopping that day.
By the way, this was the same day she scuffed a wheel on a curb. Never should have gotten out of bed that day.
