Advice needed!
Hey everyone! I'm in the process of installing the a-spec front lip as well as inspire fogs. I have a base 05 stock bumper.
My question is this. I have researched a bit but can't figure a definitive answer. Can we remove the lower grill inserts (the black plastic things in the gaps in the lower portion of the bumper where the fogs will go) while the a-spec lip is on the car? It looks like it's possible but it might be in the way.
I'm asking because the bulbs for my fogs aren't here yet and I just fixed and painted the lip, so the wait is getting long.

The answer is yes. In fact, I had an A-Spec lip on for years before I had my 03-05 Accord fogs installed so it is possible to remove just the black grilles (but the bumper will still have to be removed to install the fog lights).
Edit: Just re-read my response and your question...I think the best way to remove the grilles is from behind, thus, the bumper should be off the car when doing the fogs.

Only one way the grills can be removed, and that's toward the front of the car, not from behind.
The tabs are from behind, but you have to push away from the bumper for it to come out.
The A-Spec lip makes it VERY difficult to remove the lip, (although I remember 1 or 2 people doing it).
I wouldn't risk it though, I'd just remove the sides of the lip (don't need to remove whole lip).
