Adjusting Stock Foglights ??
I want to fine tune the adjustment on my '08 TL with stock fogs. I've looked from underneath the car thru the access hole, but I don't see an obvious adjustment screw. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I don't think there is an adjustment for it...

Definitely no adjustment... Sometimes I ponder why the hell they are there anyways, but we'll see if I'll start to like them more with Hoen Endurance bulbs.

OK, I finally had a chance to put the front end up on ramps and have a look around. The stock fogs have an adjustment that is the same as for the headlights. There is a triangular access hole about 2"X2"X2" located directly under each fog light, you have much better access if the front of the car is elevated.
If you shine a light up inside the access hole, you can see a silver serrated adjustment that is exactly like the adjustment for the headlights. You can adjust the fogs by using a phillips head screw driver (turning the screwdriver counter-clockwise raises the beam.

Yes, there is an adjustment for up and down, I speak to this in my DIY for my HID fog install. Very easy and works great! Just like the headlights, one turn on the screwdriver will make a big difference!! Remember, the majority of your light from the fogs will be toward the sides and some in the front..the higher you raise them, the less light you will actually have on the road..fogs are not designed to be driving lights..i learned this after some trial and error and I have HID fogs. I put a lot more glare on the street signs, but not so much usable light directly in front..in fact, I am going to lower mine slightly to gain more light in front of the car and lower my side line of light..I'll get to that when I stop being so got damm lazy..i will say 100% that HID fogs add way more light on the side and front of the car compared to the halogens

^ common sense. I actually need to lower my fog lights, I'll try tonight without the ramp.
