Adding Larger Tires On The Tl

In the spring I want to add wider tires on the 17 inchers. I know the tire size with the Bridgestones are 235/45. I talked with a tire store by me and can put 245/45s ES100s on. If I went to 255s he said the tire would bow out. I know its probably not the ideal setup? Would they fit?

First you need to make sure the 245/45s will actually fit without rubbing. I'm not sure about that one...and I wouldn't trust one guy at a tire store...look into it.

255s would be pretty silly IMO...too risky, and you'd definitely have to go with a 35 series tire.

Did you buy this car to sow the fields, or drive down the street?
