I'm really kinda pissed about this... Did anyone from Acurazine look at these and approve these for sale???

 

I'd be embarrassed to sell a product that bad. The idea of the AZ store is good, but the quality is these products is unacceptable. I'd buy a solid black plastic frame and AZ decals if they are made and done right.

 

Glad I ended up holding off on both the sticker and shirt.

It would probably be better to have someone associated with the site do them rather than trusting a separate site to make them.... If that's possible.

 

Mine actually got here Thursday but I just put it on. My letters don't look jacked up like yours tho.



The white doesn't look horrible. I'm gonna try and get some vinyl and put ua6 on the top white part. You guys have to remember we only paid 13 bucks for this thing. It even matches my sticker

I emailed cafepress and they agreed to refund the total I paid. I think the pictures I sent them were convincing enough. I will say however it was a quick turn around with no haggling for my refund, so I will give them that. I think I will do like most here and wait for someone else to try new products out. Maybe I got the lemon but a sour lemon it was....

 

I could tell from the license frame pic on the site that it was just the cheapest generic frame with a sticker stuck on it. This is all about making profits for the least amount of work possible. I doubt the quality will ever be that great.

You would be better off going to a local sign or t-shirt pressing shop and get it done yourself. Quanaman's stickers are a perfect example.

On a side note I would really like a acurazine hat.

 

I agree, that license plate is pretty pathetic. I don't know how they can sell something like that.

 

i have access to professional silk screening equpiment for tshirts and apparel. i'd be happy to help get some shirts printed up, but i don't want to become a vendor due to the high costs.

Hello,

I called CafePress to let them know that the image is blurry on the license plate covers, and some are not. They said that it could have been a printing error on their end and that the image uploaded is fine. I am not sure why they would have sent out poor quality items, but they did. They also told me if anyone is unsatisfied with a product they can call and get a refund.

Very sorry if anyone had a bad experience, hopefully you can order again, and get one that's better looking next time. Thanks for reporting the feedback so that we could follow up on it!

Just wanted to say I ordered a sweatshirt and a few t shirts. The only one that seems decent quality is the fitted one made in the us. The other stuff is cheap and feels cheap. Stitching looks cheap and is coming apart. Logos are at the top and dont look right. The non fitted shirt stuff is made in haiti and honduras. They are charging $22 for a $2 dollar t shirt probably made in sweatshops.

 

Have none of you guys ordered anything from CafePress before? All of there stuff is cheap and extremely low quality.

The stickers on the Acurazine Store are just generic-printed stickers. Not die-cut as Matt said. The only way to get the die-cut stickers is by donating in the holiday drive, attending the National Meet, or possibly by posting a WTB in the BM.

 

Steven also said that they will not be giving stickers away at this years Natl meet. The higher powers that be deemed that we could by them from the store instead.

^^^ I just said about the National meet. I didn't say anything about charity drive. I guess you just read my second sentence though.

 

My plate came in yesterday in a pretty timely fashion. It doesn't look that bad, and luckily mine wasn't jagged. My only gripe is that it rattles when you close the trunk (as expected, but there is no way to fix it because it uses two mounting screws). Also, it appears that the white background is actually just a strip of tape that has the Acurazine.com logo printed on it. Not sure how it's going to hold up, but considering my car sits in the Florida sun for 8+ hours daily, I doubt the glue is going to hold out the elements. I also wish I was able to get UA6 or Acura TL printed at the top, considering that piece of tape is uselessly empty. I don't recommend picking one up unless you use a coupon code. Shipping is killer, but with the code MOMMY35, it was only $13 shipped.

Nevertheless, I think it's cool to have a plate that shows off the site. Not many people have it, so I can call myself 'unique' in the slightest of ways for the time being. I haven't decided if I'm going to Plastidip or CF wrap it, but for the time being, the chrome matches the emblems.
