The pictures are still using the 2005 TL and not 2006.

umm.... Did anyone notice this particular poke in the eye?:

"Whether its the nearest ATM, a Zagat Survey restaurant, gas station, or a particular track on the third disc on your 6-disc in-dash CD changer, the TL can recognize over 290 voice commands."

How sneaky is that? If you read it literally, it doesn't say that the Zagat Survey is built into the navigation system (as we unfortunately know it is not), but it sure leaves that impression. Of course, what it literally means is that you can find Zagat Survey reviewed restaurants on your nav system; they just don't tell you that you'll need a print edition of the Zagat Survey to know which ones they are. I'm really surprised they pulled this (or should I be?).

I've been trying to get on the new version of the site and it just hangs! Says "Read www.Acura.com" at the bottom, but will not go into the site.. I've set my browser to allow pop-ups from www.acura.com, but it still won't let me get past the main page with the RL pic.

Am I missing something stupid here? Guess I'll try my anti-virus next. Seems pretty stupid that you have to change your security to get into a car website..

EDIT: Just me being stupid! Had a setting in Firefox which was preventing the page from loading. I can get in through IE. Will change Firefox settings later

i still don't get why they advertise the nsx... never see them at the dealerships and is it really a 90k car? i don't know, just don't understand who buys this car. i think its real nice but can't see why its 90k... the nsx is the overpriced neglected acura sports car... no re design, no advertising, nada...

I Hate Pop Ups. They're every where. NO need for pop ups. You have to have 3 acura.com windows open to build and price a TL. Pop up blocker is annoying enough

The NSX is an all aluminum car, lots of firsts for a production car, titanium rods, etc, etc. I assume it's hand-built too, but could be wrong on that.
It's pricey tho. The V10? replacement was shelved, rumors are a new Acura coupe will fall between the NSX and the CLS, ie, about $40-50K, in 2007-8.
some say it will be built off the TL, but many are saying it'll be an RL coupe. even better would be a Legend Coupe!

The NSX is hand built in Japan, and it's a world class car. If I had the cash I'd get one in a heartbeat!

When I went to my dealer to pick up my TL, they had a bright yellow one on the showroom floor with black and yellow interior. Drop dead awesome.

Once you take a look in person you will agree it doesn't need a redesign

90k is obviously too much money for you or me, but it doesn't mean it's too much for the car. It's up there with any top car.

Its amazing how the TSX have over 600 voice commands while the TL has a measly 290+. That just bothers me

I really would like the TL to get navi traffic and navi weather, as well as the restaurant reviews and more voice commands.

BTW, XM Radio is gearing up to unveil Navi parking.... colored areas will represent how much free parking is in garages, etc. I read this on a tech news site yesterday.

And for either one you will probably need a user’s manual- I do not see how it can be possible to even remember 50 commands, not to mentioned 600 or even 290.

Well what do I know; I do not even have NAVI

I found misleading info about NSX. On the main page is says 280hp with 6MT. when you go to spec sheet, it shows 290hp with 6MT and 252hp for AT.

Besides the 280/290hp mistake why in the heck NSX uses two different engines???

Does anyone else notice the Ipod connection noted to be in the glove compartment on the new Acura website? On the TL! ???

Ipod in my glove box? No thanks.... honestly, I have no problem using a cassette adapter with the wire... it's not as pretty but it's a lot more practical to spend $15 on this than to do a convoluted ipod adapter for the TL.

In the RL you can search for restaurants based on the Zagat Ratings and you can view all the ratings/quotes on screen. If you are looking at all restaurants, there is a little "Zagat" icon that appears if it is in the guide. It's actually a pretty good system.

don't get me wrong, i think its a good looking car, and i have seen it a million times in person... for 290 or so- whatever the actual hp is- still its a v6... just not impressive when you are upwards of 89k... i don't even want to get into the hp war, because i realize there is much more to a car, but when referring to acura's sports car, kind of weak considering its top sedan has a bigger engine.

all in all could be more features that justify the price tag beside the aluminum design etc. if i had 90k to spend on a car it wouldn't be my choice that's all.

Especially when you could get a new Corvette Zo6 for less then that!
