Angry Acura TL Fog Lights Cracked , TWICE in one year!

I have a 30 mile commute each way in Southern California through normal freeways. Unfortunately, for whatever reason my passenger fog light was cracked about 9 months ago. I got it repaired for $350. This happened again when the driver side foglight got cracked. I am frustrated about spending another $350 on this. Acura customer service is useless when asked for assistance and help. Combine this with the ridiculous steering circle, I would never recommend an Acura TL to anybody. Having second thoughts on having bought this car.

I installed yellow plexiglas in the bumper bezels to protect the fogs. Worked like a champ!

ahhahahhahahhahahaha
this is like that thread where the guy couldnt figure out how to change his HIDs out and was thinking about selling his car.

But, seriously OP, you have no control over the earth's elements. You'll even get cracked fogs with a BMW or a MB's because of rocks. and it won't be $350.

busted foglights happen to any car. calling acura customer service for busted foglights because of rocks hitting it on the road is just pointless. its not acura's fault you drive in shitty freeways.

if the car had a ridiculous steering, why did you even buy? sounds like you didnt do any research to me.

So lets see, you crack your fog light...Possibly from tailgating cars and your second guessing about having a TL.lol....wow, maybe you should get a M8 Buford AGS Tank instead
Also, why should Acura customer service offer you assistance? It's not a design flaw, or defect. Its your driving habit.

annoying, yes....acura's fault, no way.

and as far as turning radius goes, its not bad for a fwd sedan. i have driven much worse(anything by GM), and I have yet to really get stuck due to it. its too bad the many other great features havent helped with your opinion, and, sucks you didnt test drive a few other cars before the TL....probably would have been the wise thing to do.

hope that helped

lol @ this guy. why dont u just do the Lexan mod and replace the crappy glass so they never break. I've had my fogs on my accord crack for couple of months now, and i plan on changing the glass with lexans. Here's a link to where u can DIY it,I'm not sure how the TLs fogs lens look like but you should be able to make something out of this. CLICKY

You can have paint protection film installed on the lights and fogs. I have 3m film installed on mine and protects against 120mph rock impact. You can call around and ask what the price of a headlight/fog light kit would cost. For both it would definitely be less then $350.
