This is where i need yall help. Anything helpful really helps . Im not trying to spend too much money but I am willing to put some reasonable cash into it . So any suggestions as to what i should do. Repairs and Maintenance over mods first!
If you just recently bought the car, would definitely inspect the car in and out and try to find any hidden problems. Also do Preventative maintanence where possible. Then you can start modding.
No point in putting money up for mods if its gonna break down. Mods are really subjective, and how much of a budget you have. Check out AZ vendor lists for ideas

Maintenance over modifications, is a priority. As I always said, the TL a terrible platform for $$$ vs Gains (performance). Being 19, I wouldn't worry about HORSEPOWER, as you will learn quickly that it will take $$$$ to make it quicker and still be considered slow all at the same time.

But I felt I am the fastest racer, I am the best.... will race any car, any day....

After getting the TL things actually work out good for me, I did learn one thing there is no such thing as "fastest" car because there are people out there have faster ride than yours. Nice advice you gave OP tho.

Single best mod for speed, not horsepower but the ability to go faster would have to be swapping the differential gears. And it's not really cheap. Along with that do a good flywheel and clutch combo.

What bar are you referring to? The anti-sway?

Is it a 6mt if so you can do shifter bushings , short shifter , weight shift knob , shifter box bushings , braided clutch line, steel braided brake lines , slave cylinder check valve remove mod. There are a lot of things you can do what I listed above will work only if you are manual and not auto.

My TL is basically stock still because I follow a similar line of thought. It is also my daily so yeah.... but still maintenance over mods as always.
