and 240 KPH instead of 160 MPH
Automatic + Nav (no 6MT Nav there)

I thought there was something weird. Some of the member pages on cardomain are funny. There is this guy that claims he has a Infiniti FX55.

It is possible....we already know it is a canadian model, since it is the only other place in the world that you would see a Kph instead of MPH with an acura emblem.

The questionis does it really have a 2.4 L engine? If it does it would be the TSX 2.4L engine. I think is possible, do I think is true no, unless they don't sell the TSX in canada.

 

I recognize those pictures from an early Canadian review of the TL (I can't remember which source - one of the major daily papers, IIRC). He's a lier.

 

If it's true .. he wants the 2.4L engine b/c he can toy w/ that engine a lot easier than the 3.2 out of the '04 TL ...

 

He is from Cascais, Portugal and said it was the European version, with the 2.4L engine, and it also had options for the stuff we get standard. On the first page of the link he says it is the second one in Portugal.
Could it be they make different models for Europe, to fill a particular buying niche?

I think the “FX55” is a typo, because his user name is “effex45”, and in his profile on the first page he lists an FX45.

 

i dont think there is EURO version of TL..... am I correct?

 

On his page he states it's a FX55 with a V8 5.5L engine. He even has the badge on his car say FX55.

I don't believe they have the Acura brand outside North America.

Hong Kong has Acura as well...but as far as he TL in 2.4 form being exported...not so much...no plans to do such a thing

 

Mexico will have Acura sometime this year if not already.

US/Canada/Hong Kong and now Mexico are the only countries to have Acura.

 

Believe it or not! I just went on a cruise to the Caribbean and saw a couple in Grand Cayman. I thought someone put that on there but then I saw another driven aby some old lady!
