Hi, new hear but trying to find out some possible answers , have a 06 TL and mechanic says reason for battery draining is a short from 7.5A sensor but they said could take hours of labor to pinpoint. Just trying to see before spending the money if there is an idea of an area to guide them to from anyone’s past experience. Appreciate the help.

 

did they happen to tell you which circuit? that will help narrow down your analysis.. chances are it's the HFL or the A/C relay if history teaches us anything

easiest option is to disconnect the HFL altogether and that should alleviate the drain issue
