Acura and the New York Knicks have a lot in common.
Now I know this is a weird thread but as of late but I have been seeing may similarities between the acura automotive brand and the NBA's New York Knicks. I mean think about it, in Acuras 27 years as an automanufacturer it has had a difficult time gaining respect amongst luxury car buyers as a luxury brand and still have not achieved Tier 1 status, whereas the New York Knicks have not been getting any respect from many basketball fans and have not won an NBA championship in over 40 Years and Knicks fans living in NYC know what I am talking. So I would just like to see what you guys have to say in regards to comparing Acura to the New York Knicks. Do you guys see any connection between the automanufacturer and the NBA franchise?

Acura as a company, for the most part knows what the F theyre doing... Knickerbockers unfortunately don't. Their management seems to always be throwing darts to see what sticks and they usually end up with players that are pretty much overrated/overpaid and end up doing things like this...

you can make anything seem like they're the same if you are looking for it. You compare the knicks to acura just because of 1 reason.
How about the other 900 reasons that they're not similar?
Heck I can say acura is similar to apples because they both start with the letter A

Really? I thought they were more like the Mavs. They win a championship and then dissolve the team the next season.
Sort of like how Acura got the 3G TL right and then decided to proceed with the not as well received 4G TL.

Since I compared the Knicks to the acura brand, guess I might as well compare tie some Knicks players to an acura model..... so here we go Carmelo Anthony=TL(he is the bread and butter player for the Knicks, the same way the TL is the bread and butter for Acura), Tyson Chandler=MDX(he is a very dependable and reliable just like the MDX is for Acura), Amare Stoudemire=RL/RLX(I don't know why, but he seems to be to the Knicks what the RLX is to Acura), Raymond Felton and J.R. Smith=TSX and TSX Special Edition(they are as much energetic for the Knicks as the TSX is the most sporty for Acura), Iman Shumpert=RDX(a very focused performer for the Knicks the way the RDX is for Acura). Just thought I'd have a bit of fun doing this lool

No, I love acura lol, I have an acura myself just compared Carmelo to the TL because he is the most well known player on the Knicks while the TL is the most popular Acura model.

- You can't get the ILX with a 6MT and navigation in the same car.
- The new RLX is the first Acura to get a 'Not Recommended' by Consumer Reports
- The RDX is a sales disaster because when you put together the amount of interior room, the gas mileage, and the price, it just doesn't add up.
- The TL is now in the SIXTH year without a major design change.
Does Acura think their shit doesn't stink? They're getting clobbered by the competition. I guess Honda thinks it's OK considering sales of the new Accord are going through the roof.
