Just curious as to who got there TL's from a Acura dealer or just another Car dealer. I'm new obviously so I 'm just trying to figure out what the majority of you did as far as where you purchased your cars. Thanks I wish i new how to do a poll.

Did my research on the web (Cars, Autotrader, Craigslist) then found the car I wanted based on my budget, called an Acura Dealer and said I have xxx dollars, do you have something that fits what I am looking for- they didn't so I ended up with a private dealer. I was more concerned about the features than the color, since when you are driving you don't really see the color anyway. However, I ended up with an 06 Desert Mist (Gold) with Navi out the door for 14k (55,000 miles). I feel like I did alright and love my new ride.

Did research online & picked it up from a local Acura dealer ... I'd be worried about picking it up from a non-Acura dealer as the question of why did the original owner sold this one always bugs me ...

Did my research, got a quote online, and picked up my brand new SSM TL from my local Acura dealer right off the truck with 8 miles on it. Didn't have to deal with any salesmen, just walked in with my quote printed out and went right to the finance office.

Was in the market for a Type S 6MT. Found one at Acura of Boston but it sold before I could buy it. Couple days later I found one at a Toyota dealership. Since they are rare, I had to settle for buying elsewhere. Probably saved some dough since it was not at an Acura dealer though.

Overall from my research Acura dealers average $2,500 more because of there Certification but essentially your paying for 12 month warranty basically.

Got mine from a dealership. Went in on New Year's Eve day and went back on New Year's Day to pick it up.

some like it stock
got mine from the dealer. took me over a month to find it, but it's exactly what i wanted: NBP, type-S, 6MT, clean, low miles and one-owner. spent weeks on autotrader and cars.com, had a couple private parties on the line. couldn't find a 6MT to save my life, anywhere.
called up the local dealer about an '07 NBP AT type-S and they told me about the '08... i took the afternoon off work and bought it. got a pretty good deal on it too, and a killer interest rate on the loan (not through the dealer).
