Acura Certified Pre-Owned--Buyer Experiences???
Looking to buy an '04 TL through the dealership's CPO program. Wanted to get some gouge as to anyone's experience dealing with Acura CPO. Good? Bad? Bargaining points, Acura Financing program, etc.
Appreciate the input

my wife and i bought our certified '04 TL in may 2006 with 46,000 miles on it...they had a special deal going on at the time and depending on the length of the loan you took out thru Honda Financing determined the rate you got...we ended up with a 4.9% interest rate over 60 months...they had 2.9% for 48 months also...anyways, i've been very satisfied with our TL, especially because i love this car inside and out...buying a certified one also increases your warranty somewhat...we got an extra 2000 miles or so because it was certified...
haven't had any major problems or anything...just little things...wheel sensor for VSA went out...door lock switch went bad...memory seat module (ECU for electrical system) was replaced...something attached to the headlight unit went bad...all of this was covered under warranty, of course...

I bought an '05 with AT and Nav about a month ago. Overall very good experience, Acura had a finance offer going at the time (think I got 4.9%). I thought using thier financing would be a bargaining point, but it didn't seem to have an impact. My best bargaining point was the number of cars available in the area at the time (although it was limited somewhat because I was only looking for cars with nav).
As a point of reference, I paid $27.5k, car had 36k miles in Houston. I did get them to throw in free window tinting (a must in Houston), and I think I got a good (but not great) deal.
