Hi All;

I've been reading and searching this forum since before x-mas as I am about to pick up a new '06 TL. I noticed in doing my research that I haven't seen "Deals" or incentives on Acura's as I have from other auto makers. Examples would include special lease prices / rates, discounted financing etc. Right now Infiniti is offering a deal on the lease of a G35x - the other car I was considering. Just wondering if Acura does things differently or am I missing something - which is QUITE possbile lol! Thanks in advance .

Acura doesn't do much promotions. The only thing I saw last year was a lower rate and that was right before the end of the year....other than that offer there were NO promitons or rebates.

Bought my 06TL Navi in Ottawa in Oct05. Only one dealer in this city so I checked out dealers in Toronto and Montreal to see if I could get a better deal. Bottom line is that there are so few dealers in Canada that these guys don't move very much on price particularily when they have a product that is moving well.

Have not seen any specials advertised

I wrote down all the prices for 3 years rent TL 5 AT non Navi

October 5.8% $746.10 + tx
NOvember same as October
December 3.8% $691.44 + tx
January 5.8% $767.41 +tx

So the best deal is in december

I check this because i use to rent on 3 years and change after two years, so every year it's in middle of winter that deals are better.
my TL is 2005 (bought Oct 2004) so i wait for a 2007

So true about so few dealers BUT I can get a nice deal on an '06 G35x right now as for some reason the Infiniti dealers in my area are anxious to move stock. THAT should be worth some leverage . Also, I will get all my service work done at the dealer I buy from and they will make $$$ on that. Looks like I'm paying for the car now so financing / lease rates are off the table for me.

As far as getting deals on the TL. I leased mine last may and I found out 2 weeks before the deal was to go through that you could pay up to 7 months worth of lease payments including taxes, in my case about $5400.00 as a security deposit which is fully refunadable at the termination of the lease, and that brought the lease rate down by 1.5%, which worked out to $1600 odd dollars over the term of the lease. $5400.00 was not going to get me $1600.00 interest in 39 months so I went for it. Oh i got them to throw in chip guard film too. whoppee
