ac question

my daughters bf just had alternator replaced after it was done he found the ac doesn't work. I assume the wire was worked loose during the process but from what i can see its connected to the compressor. anyway out of the kindness of my heart im going to jack it up and look for him or make him look. i cant see anything much from the top. I know he removed the fan so he could get the alternator out easier. should i look at anything else? i am not sure what else it could be besides the wire to compressor i did check freon and it is still charged. i will check it again once the compressor engages

no check engine lights? . Ensure that all the AC relays are still connected as well.

Double check the wire from the fan to the compressor. When I replaced my radiator, I reconnected the wire junction and everything looked fine, but the connection was not good, so no AC....drove me nuts for a day looking. Finally jumpered the connection to be sure and the AC compressor came on. The connector is just a male/female, but one of the wires worked loose inside.
