About to pull the trigger on a 2008

I'm about to pull the trigger on a 2008 TL, with about 28K miles on it. I'm going to have a mechanic check it out, even though it's a 2008. For you guys who have some experience with the vehicle are there obvious things that I need to look for on the vehicle?

bullet proof!
especially since it only has 28k miles. get it checked out by a mechanic and see what his diagnosis is.

obvious things to look for: make sure it hasnt been in an accident. make sure all body panels have the same VIN throughout.

Yeah...like Justin stated above. I was impressed with the VIN number being on practically every body part, window, seats - u name it. So look for things that are out of place.

P.S. Usually the paint in the front and rear bumpers are color matched differently d/t material - so no worries if it looks out of place!!!

While your mech may check things mechanically, check out the electronics yourself. Radio, CD player, Navi, bluetooth, back up cam, speakers, interior lighting, power seats, seat heaters, power mirrors, horn, blinkers, HID's, flashers, windshield wipers, windshield washer, etc.

If it's a manual - be sure to test the clutch. Mine was f*cked after only 3K miles :*(. Tires are good indicators of alignment issues/whether the car was beat on. Check floormat, pedals, and interior for excessive wear - could be signs of odometer roll-back. Carfax obviously should not be disregarded either.

All glass should say "Honda" - if not, chances are it was replaced. Find out why.
