A12 Service on 2004 Acura TL?
The dealer told me that;
A - oil/ filter change
1 - tire rotation
2 - air cleanser element replacement and dust+pollen filter change and drivebelt adjustment
I'm a little confused with 2.
I thought there was only one cabin filter under the glovebox...are there two different filters under there? any DIY availble?
Also what is a drivebelt adjustment, how would you do this?

You cant adjust a drive belt, its got a spring loaded tensioner... thats all there is to it. I have no idea why people take their cars to a dealer for something like this... Its a ripoff

anyone know where I can find a good cabin filter for a decent price?
I just recently changed my pulley and tensioner, so I guess thats good.

I think Rock Auto is where I got my first one. I just had my 06 TL in for A12 service and just let them replace the filter. It was 25 bucks...so they charge 10 bucks for install.

dealer gets an hour plus to do the cabin air filter-- a 20-30 min diy for you
filters at any parts store- some brands have added antibacterial or charcoal (not bbq charcoal) to absorb smells passing thru
should replace cabin filter yearly--when you see the crud on it you will agree your lungs are worth 20 bucks
engine air filter is another simple diy
most services are just inspect for torn rubber bushings or seals, ck fluids and change the engine oil/filter,,
other operating filters every year
