is it normal for the service reminder to come on now...it says <15 percent for oil...but i only have 5200 miles..the dealer said u get your first oil change at 10k..whats the deal?

 

It is probably normal for you. The MID bases oil life on a number of factors, such as starts and stops, temperature, mileage, etc.

You should listen to your MID, not the dealer.

If you did only city driving you would probably get 15% at 3,000 miles, and if you did all highway driving it might be at8,000 miles.
