98 or 93?

98 or 93?

I know the car calls for 91.

I read that really good octane thread.

Nobody sells 91 around here. I put in 92/93 in last time.

91 or above is fine... just dont put anything under 91.

Minimum is 91. More is not necessarily better, and it probably won't increase gas mileage or performance, but it definitely won't hurt anything.

I thought you meant 91 or 93. Since you meant 89, the reply is still the same. Several really long threads about this same subject in the past, with the majority saying stick with the recommendation in the owner's manual.
