90k service about $1,000?
Okay so I recently bought my 04 tl at 120k mile. 90k service has not been done to it yet so I went to one of my friends dad shop and ask them to get me a quota for how much it would cost me and they said around 1,000. I look at a couple of forms and it seem the price for people are different. Some got the same amount I did while other are cheaper. What they told me was that since the tl need specific item(meaning we can't use just anything) and these item are expensive. Anyone got their 90k service done recently? and How much?

No such thing as "90k Service".
If you're talking about timing belt and water pump (plus a few other items) that is Service "4" on your MID and comes at about 105k, then $1000 is about the going retail rate.
Some have run specials in the $400 - $500 range, but those are not that common (until just recently).

I don't understand it myself. I've got every business card, receipt, document, tag, sticker, etc for my car from the time it was new. All in with the OM in the book they give you.
I'd pass pretty much all of that along to the next owner. But that's just me, I guess.

I think a lot of people are getting their TL's used and may not be getting an Owners Manual.

same here. i have every single receipt or service sheet for my car in a binder since it was new (including the receipt for the CAI, aftermarket stuff). i have the OM in the car. and i have an excel file with the entire service history typed out with mileages. maybe we're just anal. and when the car leaves my hands...so will the documentation of the vehicle WITH the car and to the new owner (if and when that happens).
