after getting aftermarket wheels, i noticed the rear calipers and the drums on the rear where rusted and nasty looking, so i decided to sand it down and shoot it with some paint to clean it up. i'm bored btw

Nice simple mod....

Nice looking car overall... I just got a NBP but I've always loved the way a nice clean WDP looked...

Good job man. Did you paint the calipers and drums on the car or did you take them off? Looks like you did it on the car but just wanted to make sure. I think I'm going to do this in the spring.

I always wondered if painting the mating surface between the drum and the wheel would cause any issues. I wouldn't think so but thought I'd ask.

^^^everything is back to normal after a reset of the ECU. totally threw me off, i thought i was stuck in windows 98se and tried to do a ctrl/alt/delete.

i taped off the rotors and sealed off the rest of the inner fender well with a clear plastic trash bag and threw blankets over the rear end of the car. i sanded the caliper and drums with 320, and then used the scotchbrite pad to finish it off. After that i used the 3m adhevise remover to clean it up before primer, i primed both, caliper and drums with 2 coats, then used 3 coats of black caliper paint with 10 minutes in between each coat.

Great job. I need to do this with my rotors and calipers in the rear. I also have WDP and two Yorkies. What color did you use?

Car looks great!! I gotta do my calipers when it gets a little warmer. I have TSW's too and you can see the calipers so much more with them on. I have my stock rims on now for winter tho.
What's the dog's name?
