5 percent back, 30 in front
oooooo, I didnt realize that by back window it means your rear view window. I thought it meant the windows for the back seats. I just read online that in NY, all 4 side windows can be 70% or lighter (pointless). I thought you could go as dark as you wanted for the back side windows?
What about for SUV's? Youre allowed 20% tint on the back side windows right?

if you get 70%.....its like not having anything..........everyone in the city get 30% ..but if a cop ever stops you, you can still get the ticket.........i tried everything i even had 5% rear windshield with 45%percent all around and i still got the ticket............thats why now 5% all day, car looks like a cave....
exactly! and if u are in ny i recommend getting something MUCH lighter! *FYI* 70 is legal in nyc
i of all people cannot believe im sayen this, but u know 13 tickets later at 130 a pop, enough is enough, and if u think ur going to drive around with it down....HA they will ask u to RAISE them and then give u a ticket....so spare urself the trouble!
I have 15's all around and get pulled over left and right. Also not to mention 5% and % combination is gonna look weird. Too drastic and won't look even. Maybe that doest bother you.
the back is off limits...the back WINDOWS is another story...and the rules were recently changed.....because im certain they didnt care about the back windows before and even now they dont really harass u for it.
