Being that you were 11 when your ride hit the streets, it's safe to say you're not the first owner. What's the history of it that you're aware of?

You should document your journey to 500k.. start your story from your pops and onward.

I mean she needs a little work. But still runs great no noises, shifts gears perfect, no ticking or knock. Need to replace the dashboard “cracked by passenger airbag”

Only once. And the timing belt was replaced at about 300k. It was hanging on by just a few strands

A timing belt usually gives between the ribs (across the belt).
Whereas the drivebelt will also split between the ribs, but it's splined along the length of the belt.
When the belt is compromised, it usually doesn't hold for much longer too

You guys have any recommendations on the sound system sounding like crap. It’s got all new speakers and sub. But any thing above 10 or 11 is really crappy audio

Then something is wrong with your system; you should easily be able to get up into the 30s before you start noticing distortion.

Or just replace the amp with something better..
Before the new speakers went in, how was it sounding?
What's the impedance of the new speakers?

Nah, I have 312K and there's a couple of guys who have ~335K in the "how many miles" thread...

OP, was your dad a salesman or regional manager? That's a ton of miles on an '06. But the real miracle is that the tranny is still going!!!

Hehe, just turned 313K today. Pretty sure I'll still have my TL when it turns 400K in about 3 years. Not sure about 500K... The big test now is how much longer will my original clutch last?

Still my hero NFN.. you're the only one I know who's had it from the beginning and kept up your own maintenance

You and mmade22.. I remember his journey to like 220k miles over ~6 years.. solid..
I know he sold his ride a long time ago, but it was the first testament to the longevity and reliability of the TL.
