Here are some of my observations during the first 400 miles in my 05 TL Auto/Navi.

1. Sound system kicks a$$!! The sound is crisp and bass is felt even in the front.

2. Rearview mirror does not seem to dim as I expected. I often see the bright lights of suvs that look as if they have no dimming to them. And yes, the green light is lit. Do dimmed lights change color to indicate the mirror is operational? I know my Lincoln's rearview will appear greenish as it dims lights.

3. Have not been slamming the pedal due to brake-in period but does the TL Auto have a torgue steer issue or is it just on the manuals?

4. Navi rocks, still learning commands though. Any favorite or very useful commands you guys frequently use?

5. Moleskin install, I seem to remember a thread before I purchased the vehicle in which someone stated that it was possible to install moleskin without removing the door panels, is this true?

1. Absolutely! Driving with the stereo on has taken on new meaning and depth for me. I particularly like the DVD-A - I've loaded up on DVD-As at Best Buy - they carry about 100 different titles on DVD-A.

2. Yes I'm green too - I think that means it's working

3. Torque steer is almost not noticable - but it is there. I have noticed that there is a rev limiter that keeps you from blowing up the engine if you start to spin.

the dimming feature on the mirror works very very well for me.. sure there is'nt anything wrong with yours ? try to put it off and see the difference may be.
