3rd person view of your TL at night

I have owned my 07 type s WDP for over a year now and have never seen it driving in 3rd person at night. I must say, I have just fallen in love with the car all over again

It has aspec kit, 6k lows and 3k fogs, leds all around and lowered. It is such a sexy car driving at night and looks so solid and sounds great. Pics to follow from tommorow night

Has anyone else had this feeling? You see your friend driving your car at night and just fall in love with it all over again and think this is one of the sexiest cars around

yeah i love letting my friend drive my car just so i can see it 3rd person and sometimes i drive my wifes car & let someone drive mine just so i can see & hear mine on the roll. With my exhaust it sounds so damn mean & sexy hearing it from the outside. No joke the other month i let my buddy drive my car and i was in my wifes we were on the highway & i was at least 200 yards in front of him (in my wifes car), i passed under the overhead bridge then he did also (in my car) but he hit vtech while going under the bridge and i heard that baby loud and clear even though i was at least 200 yards in front of him, with my windows up! I could only imagine what it sound like if i was behind him.... LOVE THE TL-S

I never let anyone drive my car unless they'll make a payment the following month.

I enjoy seeing others happiness who are less fortunate who envy my car to have a chance to drive my car (that i trust, and feel comfortable with them doing so )

After all it is just a car and for the most of us we have insurance, incase something would happen.

+1 on that, a car it a statement, it says a lot about you. Weather you see it or not.

I just walked towards my Type S at the Costco parking lot tonight. I just stopped and said to my new wife, "Damn, that's a good looking, sexy car".

I say this to my girlfriend all the time when we go out. I still do it 2 years into ownership. She just shakes her head.

wouldnt a 3rd person view of your car be viewing your car from the point of view of a 3rd person? like watching your car live on tv? 1st person = driver, 2nd person = cameraman, 3rd person = you

So this past week I was in a predicament. My roommate had been called up for an interview for a job he really wanted. It was about 250 miles away from where we lived, but the problem was that he had no form of transportation. And of course, he asked me if he could borrow my TL. Normally I would never allow anyone to touch my car's steering wheel, but I made a tough decision and let him because it was a job interview after all.

What would you have done?

I love walking to my car, especially at night when I unlock it and it lights up. It's a sexy car.

That being said, I rarely let people drive my car. So I've never been following my car while someone else was driving it. If I do then I am usually in the car and letting them have a joyride, or I'm too tired to drive from a trip or something. Even still, there are a few friend I would never let drive my car because I know how they treat their own stuff.

Meh.... If he had absolutely no other way then I probably would have let him. I know there are some people that would have said no just because, but I would hope my friends would do the same for me. But like I said, if I know they treat their own stuff like garbage, that would weigh on my decision.

Reading your post makes me believe he's a responsible person. I know most people wouldn't even travel 100 miles for a job interview.

Sometimes when I go pickup cars that I buy for export my fiance drives my car, and I'm always surprised at how nice it looks...especially on the highway at night, with my HID fogs going into the 2 lanes each to the left and right

I have done this recently myself when me and my GF went on our vacation where (big trust right here) I let her follow me in my car as I drived the rental back to my house. I will say I couldnt keep my eye off the rearview mirror for most of the trip back. I believe that is third person since I am viewing the car through a reflection or mirror then seeing car behind me with someone else driving...mmmm
