3rd gen full TL Kit is becoming a reality!
Wow, spoke with Versus motorsport, one of the top bodykit manufacturers in the game, and we are negotiating how we will put together a kit for the 2004 TL according to my design. once all the details are ironed out, we will present the pre-ordering option with a deposit. Here's how it stands:
1) full front bumper in polyeurethane.
2) add on rear bumper.
3) add on sideskirts.
4) we will need pre-orders.
5) pricing is being put together once we calculate the difficulty in production.
6) a more detailed design is being illustrated to convey the style.
So it will be out around early 2005, real early. Just wanted to give everybody who inquired about it a heads up, so if you guys are serious about putting on a kit that is going to bring your TL to the next level, than it is in your control by participating. I'll have the progress as it goes along. thanks for the support.
Sides and rear are being worked on still, and the front will be fine mtuned right before production...

Can't wait to see the final design of front, sides and rear, if it looks closely to the setup I've seen to this pic and the sides and rear it goes with, you can sign me up.

Is this the final front design you are going with? Or is it still being finalized?
The add-on rear bumper and sideskirts, I'm assuming they go on top of the stock bumper and skirts? What if you have the A-Spec kit...will you need the stock skirts again?
My vote is for this front design compared to the rest you have introduced us to. I am interested as well...depending on pricing. Great job.

IMO, the front and back look great. I'm not so sure about the sides, though. But you said you're still workin' on them, so I'll probably be interested, assuming it's within my budget.

I would say no to the upper part of the front bumper. I wouldn't want my TL looking like a Saab. The sideskirts are cool but the vents have got to go. Just a thicker sideskirt would be cool even. The back looks like the a-spec bumper with the center painted. The overall design is good...definitely give new RL owners a second glance.

A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks him "why the long face?"
That's what the front looks like. Almost looks like a battering ram. As for the sides, they look a lot better. The vent even looks like it follows the wheel well curves which gives it an even more menacing look. As for the front, I would make the 2 front vents point down to equal out the up and down directions of the front but that's just me. rongdog, planning on making just a lip or even carbon fiber designs?

.:KCCO:.
i'd want the first front bumper and the second set of side skirts.
the rear.... you need to work on that, deffinitely work on it.
the back of the TL right now has a beautiful shape and its gonabe hard to improve. neither of your designs hold up to the original stock bumper even. to each his own... thats just my opinion.
but hey, my tl is bone stock... so why listen to me huh.
my accord before this was yellow and had a full extreme kit with the rear molded on.... looked good but shouldnt have done that... i'm SmArT
sucks when you get rear ended with a molded rear.
the kit looks good.... just not for me anymore, learned my lesson, car looked good and got a lot of glances and props... but at the end of the day when i got home and it was just me and my car. lot of problems with a fiber glass kit. good to hear the front's gona be poly....
good luck with the kit.... if your lookin for a some1 to distribute the product too, one of my frat brothers sells body kits here in so cali. you guys can work some stuff out

I think you should maybe make the front curve inward some at the bottom if you can, rather than having such a straight slope. Other than that, I think it looks great.

I like the first front design better than the CGI design. I like the CGI side skirts more than the first skirts you showed us. I don't dislike the back. My 2 cents.

I like the CGI rendition. It actually changes the appearance of the car more than the Photoshop version. Fog lights would be killer! The rear fascia doesn't really change the look of the car beyond what the A-spec does. Will these come painted with the factory colours?

Hey Ron,
The body kit has come a long way and looks good. I agree with the majority about the side skirts, what if you continued the fender curves into the rocker panels right in front of the rear wheel like you did behind the wheel with the rear bumper without the vents?
I'm not knocking your designs, everyone has different taste. I just like subtle changes that compliment the line-flow of the car with out looking too much over the top. ( sort of like the difference between a M3/M5 front end to the standard models )
