Is anyone else in the 3rd gen Tl group on Facebook? A very helpful and knowledgeable member got booted from the site for being competition of product sales to one of the admins... in my opinion thats not very cool. What happened to the free market? And shouldn't competition make you just want to do a better job for the customer? Just step up your game if you want your sales better than him. Or why not even join together ideas and take the 3rd gen tl to the next level? Idk just my opinion but seriously who don't like a little competition.

 

I didn't know there was an FB 3G group. It sucks that they would boot someone for a little competition...

 

There's a couple groups. The guy who got booted from the original one created his own. Good for him; just disappointing when motor heads and mod artists cant get along. I mean we all love the same thing. Hell thats why I'm on A-Zine. If anything the guy was a major asset to the group. Not a someone just there for business.

 

Fortunately Azine welcomes all vendors, as long as they're legit.

 

And that is why I love it here. This forum is the ultimate face of the 3rd gen tl. Less trolling; more accepting of "Noobs" and "Noob questions". More accepting of competition and free market. The only thing I really like about the facebook page now is the fact that it literally litters my news feed with 3rd gen Tl

 

Just never post a "which CAI is better" thread. And we are ok.

 

It was not being competition...it was not adhering to the forum rules. We do not disallow competition but the request is vendors adhere to rules that are pretty clear.

 

Facebook is synonymous with drama, what do you expect? lol. Nothing on the internet is public, every site is owned by someone/something. Even here the mods could ban someone and not have to give a reason.

 

If that is your Facebook page than I'm sorry you lost such a knowledgeable member of the TL community. Not adhering to the rules is kind of harsh to out of no where boot one of the top 5 TL artists in the industry. Bruce and Aaron both did a great job teaching me about this car just from reading their posts. Its just sad that I have to see their work on separate pages now.

I listened to both arguments. Saw both sides of evidence and made a judgement call. Yay for democracy you have my permission to go to the page and make your own judgement call if you would like! No, there is a reason why most of us stick to AZ and not that 3G TL FB.

Funny, how did you listen to both arguments? I haven't posted details in any FB group, and I'm the one who banned Aaron. He broke the rules. He lied to my face. He faces the consequences of his own actions. Nothing more. No admin on this site is involved in sales of any kind. If you have FB groups adminned by salespeople, that's probably a good sign things aren't going to be above board.
