3M Adhesion Promoter 06396 removal

Any help here would be greatly appriciated

I was installing the extra factory carbon fiber pieces and opened the 3m adhesion promoter packet and the liquid splatered all over the plastic and the back of the seat. I tried water and leather cleaner but neither will get it off....any other ideas???

Not sure what would be best to use but if you contact 3m they should be able to point you in the right direction.

Clean Up
3M adhesion promoter 06396 can be cleaned up with methylethyl ketone (MEK) or
acetone solvents (be careful with solvents on plastics). Vigorous scrubbing may be
required. To prevent cosmetic damage to visible surfaces, be sure to apply the promoter
or any solvents only to areas that will be fully covered by the part.
Caution: When using solvents for cleanup, use the precautionary measures recommended
in the MSDS for the solvent.
I would be extremely careful with MEK or acetone. Test it in a area where it won't show. I know you can get acetone at Home Depot.

Sorry to hear that, but I must say it is pretty funny. Try contacting 3m.
