Talking 3G TL A-spec questions

Hi all, so i recently did some research on the A-spec stuff for my '08 TL and i'm wondering what the difference between a non-Type S kit and Type S kit is..if any? I've seen pictures and it almost seems like there are some minor differences ie: the A-spec front lip on the Type S looks slightly more aggressive, not sure if my eyes are playing tricks on me though. From the best of my knowledge (very limited) I had assumed that stock TL's and their Type S counterparts had the same body style? or am i wrong?

Also, what are the different stages of the A-spec?

1) Kit
2) Suspension/springs
3) ?? rims?

p.s. after floating around the forums for the past few weeks...i'm kinda starting to feel sad that I didnt get the Type-S . But my '08 CGP for $34k out the door was too great of a deal to pass up

See if your dealer has the BLUE Acura A-Spec booklet. It shows very good pics of ALL the Acura vehicles with the A-Spec kits on them (TSX/TL/TL-S/RL). I just got a 2008 Acura TL Type S (leased) CBP and I ordered an A-Spec BODY kit from John Eagle Acura in Houston, Tx (ask for Stephen Bradburn parts manager). He had the BEST price and it was shipped to my local Acura dealer, so I didn't have to mess with it. It will be installed in next few days, I will post pics soon!!
The Type-S body kit IS MORE AGRESSIVE looking vs the TL A-Spec body kit. The front lip is very different, so is the rear. The side spoilers are the same, and these are different than the stock ones (hard to tell in pics, but in person no doubt).
The suspension kit is TOO EXPENSIVE to have installed (6+ hrs of labor) and the 18" A-Spec wheels are $400 - $500 each + tires..........I think I am just gonna put some real high performance summer tires on my stock TL-S wheels.
GOOD LUCK!!

Not that hard though. They are coil-overs so they're basically plug and play.

A good bit of the time is getting the back seats out and replaced.

Fronts you can get done in an hour or so.

You and a freind with some tools could do it easy.
