I honestly don't care how it rolls as long as we could keep things moving. I am not keeping score lol. And this is my last day off back to a 14 day grind.

^^^ oh I know I read challenge wrong. but what I quoted above confuses me. you say it doenst count, then you say it does...im am confused.

i went back and looked at original rules and it doesnt mention you cant use old pix, but I swear that it was part of the rules that the photo had to be taken after the challenge was made, but Im not reading back through all the pages to find it, lol.

Don't forget that we used a lot of old pictures. We can't just say that we are not allowed to use old pictures.
What we can say is, IT DEPENDS ON THE CHALLENGE.

If we sit here for 2 days and don't see any pictures posted for a challenge. Then old pictures should be allowed.

If it's an easy challenge like front of a flag pole or somethin, then we should not use old pictures.

Anyone agrees?

 

RULES:

Simple rules that I remember and that I brought up.

1- Challenger is only allowed to post the picture if no one could get it in 48 hours.
(depends on him if he wants to or not).

2- If a picture you saw doens't meet with the challenge perfectly. Just say that you don't agree, don't write a story.
Even one person don't agree on the picture, for him to pass there has to be 2 people saying "I agree on the pic".

3- swoosh - 1 rule i would like to add is 2 APPROVALS....if a pic gets 2 approvals, then its good to go.....say, I ask for a challenge and if i dont log in to 4 days, will you be waiting for me to approve ?....so 2 approvals and good to go !!!

4- We mentioned the old pictures before!!! Did it work? NO
Why? Because we didn't want to wait.
How did we agree? By votes.

It's simple to think whether challenge is tough or easy one.

If it's easy, we will not use old pictures.

If it's tough to answer, we will wait 48 hours. If no one gets it, then we could use an old picture.

Because it's not a task when you sit on your laptop and just go to old pictures find one and post it.

Only reason for old pictures is like for example a snow challenge in middle of summer... that odd

I think we should stop going back and just start posting pix....

OMG

Sonic Drive-In is the name of the restaurant. Hence, yes he is at the drive-thru window but he is still at the restaurant called Sonic Drive-In (if you don't believe me just wikipedia or google it or go to their homepage), and the people that work the windows obviously also serve the food to you; therefore, his photo works for this contest.


Need to quit being so anal at some of these. The only reason I called out Swoosh's pic from the previous contest is because it OBVIOUSLY didn't meet the criteria of a pic from straight above; his pic was from the side basically.

I say shenrie wins this one and we go on to the next one.

 

Swoosh, i was NOT posting a challenge after a pic was posted....that makes no sense lol...

Some dude posted his car up in the mountains with snow...BEFORE that..my next challenge was already your TL in SNOW in my mind...he just happened to post it...if you read my post where i made the challenge it would have been obvious.

Anyways...We are on the SONIC challenge now....YAY or NAY?

to simplify, drive into a booth at sonic....call and order your food....when the waiter comes with the food step out and take a pic.....cant make it simpler...

It gets too much when you have to involve other people.

I'll go out of my way to take a picture next to a stop sign or a post office, but I'm not going to wave someone down and ask them to pose for a picture.

Challenge should be specific but shudnt involve strangers walking on the street....
Pic should be approved by 2 members (unless its obvious)....

I agree and I was going for fairness. If the top shot showed sides and was not good enough than a DRIVE-IN not a drive-THRU. I think sonic then I think roller-skates.

And I was going on current pics rule. If it is couple days on a challenge and no current pics then old pics suffice then ok.

Like I said I didnt come here to start drama and I would love to take more pics and TRY to complete challenges.

But at the end of the day this is politics and voting.

2 votes to accept or decline whichever first.

This is about our cars and our joy and love for them not a score-card at the end of the day. We love TL's and we love PIC's.

same challenge. my car has been washed at the same drive through wash since the original owners purchased it, and were talking 2-3 times a week when needed. if there was any damage, swirls, ANYTHING, I would discontinue use. the chain is called Mister Wash.

and if we can use old photos, is there a time limit before we can use them?? swoosh posted an old photo within 5 minutes of the time the challenge was posted. I could have got a current pic of my car in the snow, but not within 5 minutes, lol. I would have needed an hour at least.

 

I would accept the Sonic picture and move on!

In honor of today.........Its a holiday from the usual challenge and post a picture with your TL and a flag!

 

I think they are more so talking about old pictures as far as months old. But people should just put if old pictures are accepted. The snow challenge would have been around forever unless someone used an old one.

There sure are a lot of rules now though....
