I unfortunately had no choice but to pay sticker price as I literally had to fight off two other customers attempting to take the keys after my test drive was over. This was the only 08 available for purchase on the entire island for that time period, but it did come with 39k miles and certified pre-owned and i've made good use of that warranty and the perks of their loaner vehicle program so I don't have any regrets for that price even though it is marked up about 2 to 3 grand from what I would have paid if I was back in NY. It's an amazing creature even if it is the base.
