So don't smoke in the car! My biggest peeve is people who smoke in their cars.

I know it's your property and you can do what ever you want but still I can't stand it. And then those people throw their butt out while the vehicle is moving and it gets thrown at my car and if I have the air flowing that smell does eventually get in to my vehicle.

^That's THC for you at the most simplistic level and a major reason it's used medicinally.

I smoke in the car. I smoke cloves though. You can get in my car 10 minutes after I smoked and you would never know. For some reason the smell just doesn't linger, nor is it as bad to begin with.

I am strict though. AC/heat off, all windows closed expect the drivers side cracked. If you start opening up all windows, or the sunroof, the smoke will go throughout the car. This way, it gets sucked straight out of the window. Also, there is no turbulence inside the vehicle, so you have really accurate ash control. Lol

I paid good money for this car, just like everyone else.
In any car if you open the window even a crack the door will get drenched, wether it's my TL or 760, same thing happens. Invest in a window visor, they will help quite a bit so you can still smoke while it's raining. If you don't mind me asking, why not get the accessory ash-tray and drive with the windows closed and just turn on the fresh air feature (rather than reciruclate) to get rid of the smoke?

They aren't kidding with their ash-trays, I have 3 (1 large on in the front, one in each door in the rear) and 3 cig. lighters in my 760!

I rock the Djarums. The reason it probably killed you is they technically aren't cigs anymore in the states, they are cigars. The wrapper takes some getting used to. You can thank Obama for that lame law.

And synthetic pot? Fuck that. It's premium real deal in my house or gtfo. Lol

Agreed, tried it once and as a result got the BIGGEST damn migrane you could possibly imagine. It felt like my brain was going to buldge out of my ears.

Yes you're right but it's much worse than any of my other cars on my TL. I mean you can't even crack it like a centimeter without getting drenched, literally.

Thanks for that link! I really need to get me one of those, and I will.

And yes, not surprising that a top dog German limo has 20 ashtrays and lighters. Lol I love it. I love the flute ashtrays that are in Rolls Royces.

The owner before me smoked in my car... Had it for 3 years now and haven't been able to get the smell out. Gonna start tearing out the interior and replacing it when I have time. I keep finding ash in every little crevous as well. It's a pain in the ass to clean

get a ozone machine. that's how you get rid of smells. you leave it in overnight on a med/high setting and then let it air out for about an hour the next morning. your car will smell cleaner than a hospital.

that's what interior shops do for mold/flood damage cars that are salvageable

I smoke all the time in my car; took a trip to Colorado in it with my parents a few months ago. Before the trip I just had a $40 detail from the carwash done to it and they couldn't smell a thing, even when they tried. They have good noses too lol.

Im sure you keep your car cleaner than this kid did. When I got it I don't think the inside had ever been cleaned. Guess thats why I got it so cheap

with simple cleaning, about once or twice a week, and spraying febreze on the carpets the majority of the odor is gone.

oh, and window visor FTW! hated tryin to smoke when it was raining, until I got the visors. makes life so much better, even if we are killing ourselves slowly by the day.

oh well, f-ck it you only live once.

All you need to do is stopping smoking.....nasty ass habit and it does absolutely nothing but hurt yourself and your resale value. You're disrespecting your car :-) .
