Like, complete repaint in oem color, new suspension, fix remaining gremlins, re tints, and I dunno... maybe even supa charge it. I'd buy a used kit though. And if engine blows, no biggie! Project time!!!

My dad is starting to shop for a new Pick em up. He wants to buy one by December.
He's not a Ford guy or a Dodge/Ram guy.
He doesn't want full size either. He doesn't have many options.

I told him to negotiate the purchase, but, we have never had to negotiate a price because we usually buy from our good friends Honda dealership and get close to EE pricing.
I thought about trying the Toyota dealership, I'm sure I can find a saleswoman, and finance manager that likes cawk...... Shit even a guy would work.

I can't look at the body anymore. It hurts me to look at it. Something needs to be done about it. I'm thinking if I drop 10-12k into it, and drive it for another 3-4 years, it'll be waaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper than picking something much more expensive and faster depreciating... Porsche Macan would run me 65k used, S4 would run me 60k used, ATS-V would run me 50k used.

I'm actually drawing away from the Scat pack, because financial responsibility. I'm 28, I can have an expensive 485+ hp car later. Then there's my mid-life crisis that I will go through.
Plus, depending on direction pops and I go with the classic, I could be pushing 500+ hp...

Like, I know it's stupid to dump money into an old car... but it seems to be the lesser of two evils. Then I still get to keep my 6MT, yeah it's FWD but I can drive a Honda FWD setup to the point of people wetting their pants, It's got an LSD, the supercharger would bring it to perfect DD power levels, it still looks better than anything acura can pen these days, the mechanical side of the car seems to be well up to date with everything... I dunno.

Well.. you probably wouldn't even notice it in pictures. But there are a number of scratches and scuffs and a few minor dings that could likely be easily removed with PDR. Rock chips, I need/want new headlights (used are ok, as long as they are in great shape). Oh, and I have cancer on the car. My front fender started rusting where the brake fluid destroyed the paint.
