I had the spicy poke bowl at Pei Wei again.

Because I'm a fucking idiot.

And I've now started the countdown clock to when I need to go blast the porcelain throne.

Man. Talk about information overload. There's just too many data points to digest, but yeah, it looks like the science matches the experiment. Definitely a good value.

Just for funsies, I looked at the Beats derp phones and was actually a bit surprised at the range. Like, I knew they tended towards low end bias, but the charts almost look truncated and compressed. I'm curious to listen to my co-workers now because there's no way they sound good. No way.

Maybe I'll have him double blind these new beets by dr.e to see what he thinks of the new mApple design...

Okay, this was fun. Go here and check out 27Hz. Then 34Hz.

What's the "brown note" frequency?

No I'm back home now. Sad face.

I love big city life. I love the people, the action, the errrthang about it.

I guess edmonton is big in terms of Canadian cities, but tiny in the world sense. With the surrounding area I think we're just over a million. I wish it was bigger... more restaurants, more night life, more shit to see, more shit to do, more shit to explore. Shiiiiet in LA area I could eat at a new restaurant for every meal of the day and never run out for years.

Not by choice

When my folks were leaving Europe about 35 years ago, they had the option to move to South Africa, have guaranteed jobs, a nice house with a servant, and some other BS, but my old man was too chicken of South Africa and decided canada was better...

They didn't get a choice with what city they went to. It was chosen for them by the government. But being here 35 years, they had options to move around...

Once again, pops was too chicken for some reason. Oh sure, it was no big deal escaping communist Poland and moving to a country with no money, no belongings and no knowledge of the language, but once here it was too scary to move around

Wifey and I want to move... we looked at Australia and might go ahead with it still, but there's some hoops we have to jump through first. Maybe in a year or two. Time will tell

The plan is just "australia" for now. It would depend where I find work. I would have an easier time finding a job than Wifey.

We've looked into what it takes to get a visa.. turns out it comes with permanent residency ), but costs 3k per person. At this point we are just slowly putting money aside for it. Don't want to touch savings. We aren't in a hurry to move.
