My CPA is on holidays. I gave him 2 months off and the keys to my yacht. Figured my other CPA could do the work. But I don't like the way he does his hair, so sadly, I'm left up to my own devices.

Nope. Taxes aren't exactly brain surgery. Although, in the last few years, I've started using software instead of filling out paper forms by hand.

 

Plus, I'd need to *pay* a CPA to do it.

Hell, I'm to cheap to buy name brand software. I know a lot of people use the H&R Block tax program... I went down to the shops in Chinatown where you can get the knockoff handbags and picked up something called R&H BIock. It pretty much does the same thing but I have to guess about a few things since my Mandarin is pretty weak and google does some funny translations some time.

 

I changed my withholdings at the beginning of Q4 so I wouldn't give too big of a interest-free loan to the man. Got a very small refund, next time i'll shoot for less.
